Runway Manila: Your Catwalk from NAIA T3 to Newport City

The construction of Runway Manila is now complete. Connecting NAIA Terminal 3 to Newport City (a residential resort and lifestyle hub) and is expected to ease traffic and congestion at the airport.

It’s a 220 meter pedestrian bridge that can accommodate up to 2000 catwalks. The first bridge in the country that can accommodate such number of people, and can even host a short running event due to its length.


The bridge is air conditioned with facilities like cafe for comfortability. It also has moving walkways and elevators for persons with disabilities.

Reportedly a 1.5 billion project constructed by Alliance Global, one of the largest developer companies in the Philippines. It’s a holding company for a group of companies like Megaworld, Emperador Brandy, McDonalds and Travellers International.


Spearheaded by the recently appointed DPWH secretary Mark Villar and is part of the 3.6 Trillion infastracture program of the  president Rodrigo Duterte. Other projects include NLEX Harbor Link and Mega Manila Subway. 

Airport passengers will be able to strike a pose and show off their airport fashion styles at the runway in the next few days as it’ll be made available to public this April 21.
